Cool little toy
I thought this was such a weird toy at first and hated that it was so many pieces, but it’s actually not that bad. I love all the colors! All the little spikes store inside the hedgehog, thankfully, so easy to clean up and put away/take on the go. This is definitely a durable little toy as my son is pretty rough on it sometimes, but he does like it a lot. Great for hand/eye coordination, motor skills, etc.. somebody had gifted us one for his 1st birthday, so we did the same for someone else. I would definitely buy another one in the future, if need be. Highly recommend.

Great for my 13 month old

I know the age recommendation is older than 9M but my LO can sit and play and talk for what feels like forever with this toy. Plus we can also sit and play with her and learn at the same time
Perfect for fine motor skill development, learning colors, & numbers! Storage shell is also a plus to not lose pieces and keep it all together!

Engaging and Educational Toy
My 18-month-old granddaughter likes this cute toy. At first, she had a little trouble fitting the pegs into the holes because one end is for holding. She figured it out pretty quickly with a little guidance. This is a good toy for color recognition and counting. The blue piece can be pulled off to store the pegs inside. Snaps back on easily. Holes are numbered 1-12. Fun, durable, and educational toy.

Simple & easy to understand
It’s a great gift for a toddler, I bought for my daughter cause she would get my colored pencils and try to stick them in holes around the house , I think it’s cute, pretty decent size, and it’s durable, I like the facts that you can store the sticks inside for easy storage and won’t lose any of them, she understands the concept of what to do. For other parents who’s toddler puts everything in their mouth just be careful cause the stick can possibly be a choking hazard, definitely would just have to keep on eye on them while playing with this toy,

So much fun to watch them figure it out
Our twins have enjoyed playing with Spike for the last couple months now and I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on one of them completely focused on the task of properly inserting a quill into the hole, then doing it again and again. A week later her sister was doing the same, and it is just incredible that such a simple toy can be so much fun for them. They have since figured out the quills can fit into water bottles and other spaces around the house and enjoy inserting them in places for us to find later. :)

Baby loves it!
It is such a cute little toy! I love that there’s not a bunch of different lights and sounds. It’s very simple to use. I bought it for my one-year-old’s birthday. First, I sat down to play with it with him, and now he will grab it on his own and play with it. As you see in the video, he had just woken up and I was still breast pumping. He grabbed it off the TV stand and sat down and played with it quietly. I would say this is a perfect toy age for his age To practice fine motor skills!
